Stay the whole day or come when you can and stay for as long as you'd like. Whatever works best for you! If you can't join us, know you will be missed. We are so glad to have you in our lives and will find another time to celebrate with you.
Daylong Activities
No matter when you join us, there will be something to do! We will have hands-on crafts and activities for children of all ages (yes, even your age). In the field we will have lawn games, including Kubb, as well as mini picnic areas with built-in gameboards. Guests will also have the chance to see photos from the wedding (if that is your thing), enjoy a variety of food and drinks, and do something called "socializing."
2-4pm Compete (or Watch) Taskmaster Challenges
Full disclosure, everything about the day is selected to reflect something about us as a couple. One of our favorite things is Taskmaster, a British panel show (one of the greatest forms of entertainment) in which performers compete in a variety of increasingly ridiculous tasks.
Those who choose to compete (either as individuals or teams) will have the opportunity to laugh themselves silly or become endlessly frustrated, depending on their level of competitiveness. Given the company we keep, probably primarily the former.
The champion will be crowned at 4pm and will win a trophy! Will it be a statue of our heads Janus-style? Only time will tell...
After 4pm Get Down with Funkademic!
Spend the rest of the evening enjoying the erudite grooves of Funkademic! Founded at Brown University in 2019, Funkademic plays funk, soul, and R&B on period-correct instruments. We dare you not to dance!
